Who processes your data

What data and why

When you request an assessment you give us your name, phone number, postcode and, if you like, your email address, plus your answers about your home or business. We use them to contact you, prepare your assessment and, if you go ahead, organise the visit and the installation.

The legal basis is your own request: steps prior to a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not send you advertising by email without your explicit consent.

Who we share it with

With the licensed installation company in your area that works with us, only for your request. Also with the providers that run technical services for us and process data on our behalf: website hosting (Vercel) and our customer management system (HighLevel). Some of them are in the United States; the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

If you message us on WhatsApp

If you use the WhatsApp button on this website, we first store your name and phone number in our customer management system, so we know who is writing to us. We use your number and your messages only to answer your question. WhatsApp is a Meta service, which processes that data under its own terms.

How long

While we handle your request. If you do not go ahead, we delete your data no later than 12 months after the last contact. If you do, we keep it for as long as tax and commercial law require.

Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by emailing privacy@adaptopower.nl. If you think we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
